When you go to a game's store page on Steam you can nominate it for 100 xp and a badge. I did it for fun, but i didn't know Steam had any award system. Supposedly this is a thing now. Steam users can vote from Nov 23rd to 29th 2016 for their favorite games. There are 8 categories: The “Test of Time” Award The “I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye” Award The “Just 5 More Minutes” Award The “Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!” Award The “Villain Most In Need Of A Hug” Award The “Game Within A Game” Award The “I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award” Award The “Best Use Of A Farm Animal” Award The “We Didn’t Think Of Everything” Award Personally there are a lot of other awards i would prefer, but this is their first year and it seems very experimental so i forgive them. I'm also very into the idea of player choice awards. Source: store.steampowered.com/SteamAwardNominations/

Oh lol, I didn't even notice that I got a badge out of it.
Only thing I nominated was EBF4 for "I thought this game was cool before it won an award" award, since I've been playing the games since about 2008. More categories next time would be fun; now that I think about it, wasn't there an option to invent your own award category? Should have done that.
